SUBSTANCE: adjustable arc compression coil consists of magnet core, excitation winding, cover, base, housing and frame of the magnet core. The magnet core is made of ferromagnetic and non-magnetic rings inserted into each other; the rings have even height but different diameter. The ferromagnetic rings are made of ferromagnetic composite material with different magnetic permeability and consist of non-magnetic shell, circular magnet core made with an air gap.

EFFECT: reducing dimensions and increasing inductive reactance-current linear dependence.
