FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: magnetic circuit with air gap is formed near one end of current-carrying release lever by one branch of cross piece, second branch of cross piece forms closed magnetic circuit with additional ferromagnetic plate close to other end of lever. First of mentioned branches is called small and second one - big. Usage of current-carrying release lever in these circuits as conductor makes it possible to cut off current fast without follow-through of contacts and to disengage main contacts of heavy short-circuit currents before release of engagement latch. EFFECT: creation of conditions of obtainment and usage of magnetic fluxes in steel cross-piece. 4 dwg
