FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: when locomotive is moved by means of rocker arm connecting fly crank of driving wheelpair with rocker 1 the last is rocking around its centre on bushing 2. To intake steam into steam engine the spool valve 21 and plate 20 are actuated by means of moving in opposite directions the adjusting slide blocks 5, 6 in grooves 4 using double-reduction screw-gear while turning by engine the screw 13 which rotates by wheels 11, 12 the screws 8, 9 moving by teeth 7 the mentioned adjusting slide blocks. As a result, for instance slide valve link 17 is moved downwards and link 18 is moved upwards. After adjusting slide blocks have been displaced by required value the engine is stopped. Movement from adjusting slide block 5 via slide valve link 17, rocker 23 and rod 24 is transmitted to slide valve 21 which reciprocates towards plate 20 which in its turn is displaced by rod 18 getting motion from adjusting slide block 6 via link 18. Speeds of slide valves and plate are added due to which fact steam exhaust (outlet) port opening and closing time and steam throttling are decreased.
EFFECT: higher coefficient of efficiency, simplified design of steam distributor implementing the method, improved operational performance.
