SUBSTANCE: method to manufacture a decorative coating on a panel surface includes preliminary preparation of a decorating material by mixing of the decorating material with dyes, application of a binder onto the panel surface, placement of the decorating material on the auxiliary horizontal surface, matching the surface of the binder with the decorating material on the auxiliary surface, holding the panel on the decorating material with application of the load, fixation of the decorating material on the panel surface, at the same time prior to placement of the decorating material on the horizontal auxiliary surface they form a multi-layer vertical flat multi-colour composition from it that is equal in height (width) and length of the decorated panel surface, the binder of the decorating material is a water emulsion layer with fillers, and after separation of the decorated panel from the decorating material its surface is coated with a stabilising layer.

EFFECT: invention provides for reproducibility of specified decorative ornaments.
