FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking, particularly, to making decorative front panels of doors and/or furniture. Method includes milling the front surface of the wood material to form recesses, which are then filled with a polymer composition of a color contrasting with respect to the wood material, as which polyurethane resins with pigment dyes or their mixture are used. Then front surface of wood material is polished and varnished.
EFFECT: obtaining a decorative pattern of any complexity on the front surface, which contrasts with the surface of the wood material of the article, which provides the decorated articles with improved consumer properties.
