FIELD: manufacture of decorated ceramics. SUBSTANCE: method consists in filling the cells of ceramic blanks with decorating material followed by heat treatment. Decorative material is fed to cells form of balls of different colors (one ball per cell); to enhance light-reflecting effect, angle at vertex of cell shall be within 0 to 140 deg; thermal expansion coefficient of thermoplastic material differs by no more than 10 percent for this index of ceramics. EFFECT: reduced labor consumption of process; improved decorative effect; enhanced wear resistance; enhanced bond when used as side-walk tiles.
