FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vortex flowmeters, which are used in the field of industrial process control to measure the flow rate of a fluid medium. The vortex flow meter contains: a flow pipe configured to receive the flow of the process fluid in the first direction; a poorly streamlined body located in the flow pipe between the first end and the second end, configured to form vortices in the flow of the process fluid; the first pair of sensors containing the first pair of piezoelectric cables located inside holes in a poorly streamlined body near the first side of a poorly streamlined body and spaced along the first side, the first pair of sensors being configured to detect deformations in the poorly streamlined body resulting from vortices acting on the first side of the poorly streamlined body; and a second pair of sensors containing a second pair of piezoelectric cables located inside holes in the poorly streamlined body near the second side of the poorly streamlined body and spaced along the second side, and the second pair of sensors is configured to detect deformations in the poorly streamlined body resulting from vortices acting on the second side of the poorly streamlined body.

EFFECT: simplification of the design and an increase in reliability.
