FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a metering cylinder made according to GOST 1770, a glass funnel with a cylindrical part made according to GOST 25336 and placed above the metering cylinder, a reservoir with investigated material, a nozzle fixed on a support hingedly or with a flexible element as capable of displacement along the support. The reservoir with investigated material is made of alternating cross section from two parts, smoothly changing one into the other, besides, one part is made as ball-shaped, the second part - in the form of a dome-shaped canopy, having an open round base, tightly connected to the large base of the funnel, in the lower side part of the dome-shaped canopy of the reservoir there is a through hole. The nozzle is installed on the support with the possibility of insertion of its output part into the specified through hole of the reservoir, besides, the output part of the nozzle is made as capable of displacement in the reservoir at different angles, and a part of the ball-shaped form of the reservoir adjacent to the base of the dome-shaped canopy, is a receiver of samples of investigated elements of the material arriving from sampling.

EFFECT: provision of the possibility to perform valid, efficient, environmentally clean determination of apparent density of porous material in the form of short straight fibre.
