FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: in an internal combustion engine with spark ignition, intense movement of an air charge around a cylinder axis is formed, and at least part of fuel is injected through injector nozzles onto the wall of the combustion chamber, the angle of fuel injection advance is increased in case the amount of charge supplied to the cylinder is increased. Thus rotating circumferential volume of rich fuel-and-air mixture is formed, ignition of the mixture results in the removal of combustion products from the annular near-wall space to the chamber centre and displacement of relatively cold air from the vortex centre to the wall by them.
EFFECT: increased combustion efficiency along with the decrease of harmful admixtures content in combustion products.
