SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of planning radiotherapy. The method contains stages, at which the contour of the surface of at least one object of interest in a set of multidimensional data is identified and an inconstant boundary area is determined on the basis of the indentified surface contour and at least one of the morphology of the surface of the object of interest and anisotropic movement of the surface of the object of interest, with the inconstant boundary area being wider in the direction, perpendicular to the direction of movement than in the direction, parallel to the direction of movement; with the inconstant boundary area being added to the identified surface contour.
EFFECT: reduction of radiation load on a healthy tissue due to the fact that the inconstant boundary area is added to the identified surface contour.
