FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: planting unit for planting bulbous cultures comprises a housing with a reel located inside it. The reel grooves are formed by the fork grips. The grips are made in the form of rods which are located at an acute angle to each other and form cells for the bulbs. The distance between the fork grips, measured along the tangent drawn to the centre of the reel groove, is greater than the diameter of the planted bulbs.
EFFECT: invention enables to improve the uniformity of the bulb distribution when planting them along the row and to reduce their damage.
