SUBSTANCE: reel-fork planter for bulb vegetables is an assembly unit consisting of a body and a reel with cells formed by fork grips, mounted on the shaft of the planter and intended for the piece-by-piece feeding of bulbs into the seed tube. Recesses in the form of a spherical segment are made between the fork grips made in the form of rods along the arc of a circle of the outer diameter of the coil body. In this case, the radius of the base of the segment r is equal to half the step t between the fork grips along the arc of a circle of the outer diameter of the coil body, which is determined by the expression
where D is the outer diameter of the coil body, mm; n – the number of fork grips consisting of two rods.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to carry out single-piece selection and supply of bulbs to the seed tube, regardless of the fraction of bulbs planted.
