FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: plant includes a reactor vault with an upper covering, a reactor with a core, which is arranged in the vault, steam generators, circulating pumps, circulating pipelines, systems of actuating mechanisms and devices for start-up, operation and shutdown of the reactor plant. Steam generators are made in the form of tubular heat exchangers, in which a lead coolant flows inside pipes, and water-steam flows in an annular space; steam generators are arranged in individual boxes and interconnected with the reactor vault via rising and drain circulating pipelines of the lead coolant. Steam generators and the larger part of the circulating pipelines are arranged above the level of the lead coolant in the reactor vault; the circulating pumps are arranged in the reactor vault in circulating pipelines for rise of a hot lead coolant; natural circulation of the lead coolant is provided at switch off of the circulating pumps.
EFFECT: reducing specific volume of a lead coolant per unit of power of a reactor.
