FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: water separating filter includes a housing consisting of three stages 1, 2 and 3, separated by horizontal perforated partition walls 11 and 16, with an outlet pipe 4 for purified liquid in the side wall of the third stage 3 and a drain pipe 20 at the bottom of the third stage 3, a cover 5 with an inlet pipe 6 for the liquid to be purified. The first, second and third stages are fitted with hydrodynamic filter elements which respectively consist of flat bases 8, 13, 18 and conical porous partition walls 9, 14, 19, held by springs 7, 12 and 17 in a lower position, structurally and geometrically similar to each other, with the ratio of the working surfaces of the filter elements of the first, second and third stages equal to 10:3:1. The inner cavities of the filter elements are linked by conical pipes in perforated partition walls 11 and 16. The inner cavity of the filter element of the third stage 3 is linked to the conical drain pipe 20.
