SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to pharmaceutical compositions containing an immunising amount of inactivated Newcastle disease virus, and an adjuvant. A method for immunising chickens or turkeys against Newcastle disease is characterised by the fact that it involves the stage of primary immunisation of the above chickens or turkeys with a vaccine containing an immunogenic amount of the inactivated Newcastle disease virus and the water-in-oil adjuvant, and the stage of booster immunisation 2-12 weeks after the above primary immunisation of the above chickens or turkeys with the vaccine containing the immunogenic amount of the inactivated Newcastle disease virus and the water-in-oil adjuvant. A kit for immunising the chickens or turkeys against Newcastle disease comprises a container enclosing the inactivated Newcastle disease virus and the water-in-oil adjuvant for primary immunisation of the chickens or turkeys, and a container enclosing the inactivated Newcastle disease virus and the water-in-oil adjuvant for booster immunisation implemented by the above method. The above vaccine can contain one or more additive antigens produced of a virus or a microorganism pathogenic for poultry.
