SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to poultry farming. A composition contains an effective amount of a poultry vaccine agent specified in a group consisting of viruses, and a supporting amount of a carrier for said poultry vaccine agent. Said carriers contain a combination of nonreducing sugar and biologically compatible polymer. A dry powder composition is presented in the form of particles having the average particle size of 2 to 30 mcm, and the particle size polydispersion 1.1 to 4.0 and wherein the mass ratio of said biologically compatible polymer to said nonreducing sugar in said combination of the carriers makes 1/1 to 1/8. A method for making the dry powder composition for vaccination involves spray drying of a liquid phase containing a mix of the vaccine agent specified in a group consisting of viruses, the liquid carrier and the supporting amount of the solid carriers containing the combination of nonreducing sugar and biologically compatible polymer. A poultry vaccination inhalation system a chamber containing the dry powder composition, and a dispenser of the dry powder composition for vaccination of said poultry.
