FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves an ossiculoplasty, which provides forming a trapezoid prosthesis 2.5-3.5mm high of a cortical layer of Planum Mastoideum or a preserved patient's corpus incudis. A stapes head bed and an opening shaped after an upper one-quarter of a stapedial arch are formed on the side of the prosthesis corresponding to a smaller base of trapeze to fix to the stapes. If the stapes head is absent, the bed is only formed after an upper one-third of the stapedial arch. The opposite side of the prosthesis corresponding to a greater base of the trapeze is delivered under a neotympanic membrane.
EFFECT: method provides the more stable position of the prosthesis by the greater surface contacting to the stapes.
