FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: gas turbine engine comprises combustion chamber, high-pressure turbine, free turbine and exhaust gas guide cone. High-pressure turbine is arranged downstream of combustion chamber and can receive combustion gases therefrom. Guide cone is secured at free turbine behind said turbine. Guide cone comprises inner resonance cavity wherein neck is fitted to communicate said resonance cavity from guide cone outer side to compose of noise attenuation device composed by Helmholtz resonator structure to attenuate noise waves radiated by gas turbine.
EFFECT: lower noise at minor increase in weight and overall dimensions.
