SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is the recombinant strain Escherichia coli RNCIM B-11864, which has constitutive aspartase activity and obtained by introducing into the E. coli strain RNCIM B 7188 of plasmid containing aspA gene under control of the promoter pEftu from Corynebacterium glutamicum ATCC13032. The group of inventions also relates to a method of synthesis of L-aspartic acid, according to which ammonium fumarate is mixed with a suspension of the biocatalyst, and the biocatalyst is used as the said recombinant strain.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain L-aspartic acid with high efficiency.
