FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: in case of emergency outage of voltage in power plant and valve actuator control protection circuits the magnetic field holding pushers 27 and levers 21 in working position disappears. Being effected by the additional spring pushers 29 the rollers 23 overcome resistance of depressions in pawls 28 which are not withheld any more by pushers 27 the levers 21 and respectively 22 rotate, release the floating flange 15 which being effected by the axial movement spring 16 moves up, thus moving in the same direction the clutch 12. The splint 19 leaves the lower cut of the clutch 12, releasing the intermediate shaft 10 from engaging with the drive shaft 13. The torsion spring 14 gets an possibility to be untwisted, its movement is transferred to the intermediate shaft 10 and to the spindle 3 connected to it which rotates at the angle 90° to the position of closing of ball shutoff element 2 of the ball valve.
EFFECT: improvement of reliability due to ensuring automatic instant closing of the ball valve in case of outage of electric power to electromagnets and the valve actuator and possibility of subsequent remote return of the ball valve to a starting position.
