FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a supporting element (2) of an object. The stairway comprises a frame having at least three legs for positioning of the stairway on the surface. Each of these at least three legs is made as capable of individual and selective extension for adjustment of length of each of these at least three legs. Each of these at least three legs comprises a transmission element and a locking element. The locking element has a locked position for blocking of axial extension of the leg and an opened position that allows for axial extension of the leg. These at least three locking elements are connected with a central control mechanism via transmission elements, and the central control mechanism is made as capable of simultaneous activation and deactivation of these at least three locking elements. At least two ledges are hingedly connected to each other.
EFFECT: invention facilitates stairway installation.
