This process comprises one step of temperature increase of said filter for solid particles (202), determination of filter temperature Tfilter and its comparison with first temperature Tlimit1, mm. Said increase is terminated when said definite temperature Tfilter decreases below said first temperature Tlimit1. Then, after said termination, at least one measure is taken for increase in filter temperature when Tfilter is higher than second temperature limit Tlimit2 higher than said first temperature Tlimit1. Besides, invention discloses the filter recovery system and vehicle incorporating the latter.
