FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical equipment and can be used in chargers for lithium-ion batteries. The technical result is the decrease of charging time and increase of the battery time discharge. The battery control system contains the general control unit and control units of each cell from the set of the battery cells. Each cell of the set is controlled by own unit containing a microcontroller designed with a possibility to retrieve the data on cell condition, to transfer the obtained information to the general control unit and to balance the voltage of cells by large currents (when receiving the control command from the general control unit). Balancing is effective in any operating mode of the battery (during charging, discharging and rest). A set of the battery cells are connected in series in a DC circuit, and in parallel in AC circuit - in parallel through the transformer balancing system. Each cell is fitted with DC/AC inverter.
EFFECT: inverters are synchronised by the general control signal from the general control unit.
