FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to electrical engineering, and can be used in development and operation of large lithium-ion accumulator batteries. Device for balancing of lithium-ion accumulator battery consists of serially connected modules, each of which contains specified number of accumulators. Modules include: a unit for monitoring and charging and discharging, each unit of the MSCD module comprising DC/AC converters for each battery of the module and a DC/AC converter for the module as a whole and a unit for monitoring and controlling charge for the module as a whole, as well as mode switching units for each module battery and unit for switching mode of the module as a whole, thereby reducing the time for balancing occurs due to arrangement of energy exchange, both between separate modules, and between separate accumulators simultaneously.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of balancing time.
