FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: loading of products in an inductor of a heating device is realised, then heating and soaking of the products, which contact with a saturating zinc-containing mixture is carried out until a thermal-diffusion zinc coating of a necessary thickness is formed, with the following unloading and cooling of zinc-coated products. As the saturating mixture applied is a polymer-based zinc-containing suspension with the following content of components in wt %: zinc powder - 17-95, volatile substances -3-1 and a solution of a polymer binding agent - the remaining part, which in the quantity of 0.5-3.0% of the weight of the products to be zinc-coated is preliminarily applied on the surface of the products in an even layer, then after the solidification of the polymer, the product is loaded in a metal reservoir, preliminarily placed inside the inductor of the heating device and heated to the temperature, which exceeds 250°C. Then heating of the products by vortex currents to a temperature of 350-600°C is realised with their further exposure in the inductor for not more than 30 min. After that the products are unloaded from the inductor.
EFFECT: creation of the high-quality coatings on massive large-sized products.
