FIELD: anti-corrosion treatment of metal products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal diffusion galvanizing and can be used in any branch of engineering and other industries that require protection of products from corrosion and aging. The method includes loading products into the retort of an induction electric heating installation, uniformly pouring a saturating zinc-containing mixture into the retort, heating the products and the zinc-containing mixture in the electromagnetic field of the induction electric heating unit due to eddy currents generated in the workpieces to a temperature of 420-440°C, mixing in an induction electric heating unit by rocking the retort with heated products and a zinc-containing mixture for 1-1.5 hours, depending on the required coating thickness, followed by turning off the power supply of the unit’s inductor and unloading the processed products from the retort.
EFFECT: increased energy efficiency of the thermal diffusion treatment process and reduced process time.
