FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in a gasification process where a syngas stream and a carbon monoxide stream with a predetermined ratio H2 is obtained: CO by introducing an oxidizer, which is a mixture of water vapor and oxygen-containing gas into the metal melt together with the raw material. The ratio of the raw material and the oxidizer introduced into the metal melt and the ratio of water vapor and oxygen-containing gas in the oxidizer are selected depending on the ratio of H:C in the feedstock. The resulting syngas of predetermined ratio H2:CO is maintaned by adjusting the flow rate of water vapor supplied in the oxidizer composition.

EFFECT: possibility for processing waste, including wet, with targeted production of two separate streams of gaseous products: syngas stream and carbon monoxide stream that are used, without correction of composition, for synthesis of high value-added chemical products.
