FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to options of the catalytic conversion to increase cetane barrel of the diesel fuel. One method option includes oils feed contact with catalyst having relatively stable activity and containing mainly wide-pore zeolites in the catalytic conversion reactor; at that reaction temperature, vapour contact time and weight ratio catalyst/oil feed are sufficient to produce the reaction product containing diesel fuel and about 12-60% gasoil of catalytic cracking in boiling bed from oil feed mass. At that the reaction temperature is in range from 420°C to 550°C, oil product vapours contact time is about 0.1-5 s, and weight ratio catalyst/oil feed is about 1-10, and catalyst characterised by distribution of coarse particle contains below 10% by weight of particles with size below 40 microns of volume of all particles, below 15% by weight of particles with size above 80 microns of volume of all particles, and rest particles have size about 40-80 microns.
EFFECT: increased method efficiency.
