FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to defence applications, namely to devices and methods of increase of initial velocity of a bullet and recoil elimination. The device for increase of initial velocity of a bullet and recoil elimination consists of a barrel, a cartridge chamber, a muzzle attachment. Parallel to a standard cartridge chamber the second cartridge chamber is installed. The second cartridge chamber is interconnected with the channel the output from which is connected with ruffled part of the channel at the distance providing the value of muzzle pressure of powder gases above the medium pressure of powder gases, but below the maximum allowable pressure of powder gases from shot. The end of riffle part of a barrel is connected with Laval's nozzles and end part of the barrel. The outlet from Laval's nozzles is vented to atmosphere. The end part of the barrel together with a bullet provide chocking of powder gases for the period of their rotation with reference to the axis of the barrel channel to the angle (180-α)°, where α - an angle between the barrel axis and axis of flow (movement) of powder gases.
EFFECT: increase of point blank range of a gun, and also increase of destructive power of a bullet.
