FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: cartridge for sniper arms includes case with propellant charge and bullet with tail supports of stabilising fins, connected to the case by link destroyed upon shooting, and tray dropped off after a bullet leaves the gun barrel. Tray is mounted on the bullet in the area of stabilising fin supports. Bullet is designed as a jet engine with powder charge of end burning. Jet propulsion is approximated to air resistance during bullet travel in the barrel. Front end of jet engine has streamlined shape. Stabilising fin supports are hinged and installed around jet engine nozzle. Device initiating the jet engine at the moment close to exit of bullet from the barrel is mounted on the tray along the engine axis. Powder charge of end burning is attached in the jet engine chamber.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of cartridge.
