SUBSTANCE: invention is related to control device for distribution cabinet, which is connected through industrial network to various sensors and/or actuators in order to monitor and control various functions of distribution cabinet such as conditioning, moisture control and access control. The invention claims the control device and method, wherein at least a part of sensors and/or actuators used as directly connected sensors and/or directly connected actuating mechanisms are equipped with own bus connection diagrams and connected through them to industrial network; and the control device has initiation unit or is designed for connection to such unit and through the latter directly connected sensors and/or directly connected actuating mechanisms are initiated before start-up of their operation and are addresses automatically and then, based on individually assigned addresses, they are connected by the control device to data exchange for the purpose of their operation.

EFFECT: development of control device for distribution cabinet with reliable data transfer and potential adaption to various cases of distribution cabinets usage.
