FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: simultaneously two objects of testing are tested, besides, each object is exposed to a load of one and the same value. Different objects have different length and area of cross section. The area of object cross section is directly proportionate to its length. One object represents a sample, the area of cross section of which is So, length - Lo, and the other object represents two samples located nearby, which are loaded simultaneously by identical forces. Each of these two samples has area of cross section So, length 2×Lo. Two objects of testing by identical ends with the help of flexible, but stiff when stretched elements are fixed on a stiff fixed stand, and by other identical ends with the help of flexible but stiff when stretched elements are fixed to a light movable stiff cross beam. The distance between points of fixation of appropriate flexible elements to the stiff stand and between points of fixation of appropriate flexible elements to the light movable stiff cross beam is identical. In the middle between points of fixation of appropriate flexible elements a point of application of external load is arranged to this movable cross beam. Achievement of the limit of linearity of mechanical properties of materials is determined by the value of the angle of rotation of the light movable cross beam, with the help of which they transfer the load to objects of testing.
EFFECT: facilitation of the procedure to maintain proportionality of loads acting at two different samples for each moment of time calculated from the start of the process.
