FIELD: test technology.

SUBSTANCE: use: to estimate the linearity region of mechanical properties during deformation of samples of materials. Summary of invention consists in the fact that simultaneously, two research objects are loaded in tension, wherein these investigation objects have different length of working part of samples, wherein samples have the same cross-section area, wherein one ends of said samples with the help of flexible inextensible elements are fixed to the fixed base, and other ends of the samples with the help of flexible non-stretchable elements are fixed to the movable traverse, wherein in operating condition at low load, the samples are placed parallel to each other and parallel to direction of action of tensile load, wherein ratio of lengths of working part of samples is inversely proportional to ratio of forces, stretching samples, wherein at loading in the region of linearity of the sample attachment area to the traverse are translationally shifted during loading, wherein external load application point to cross beam to which specimen attachment elements are attached divides said crossbar so that the ratio of arms of forces measured from external load application point to said crossbar to attachment point of flexible inextensible fasteners of corresponding specimens to said crossbar is equal to working part lengths of samples, in particular, the second sample can have double the length of the working portion of the sample than the first sample, wherein the first sample has a force arm which is half as large as the second sample, wherein the second object of study also consists of one sample, as the first object of investigation.

EFFECT: possibility of maintaining proportionality of loads acting on two different samples for each moment of time, with lower consumption of analyzed material.
