FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: ear protectors for fleet personnel are characterized by positive buoyancy in fresh and in sea water and contain a headband on which ends cups of ear protectors are located, each of which is designed as a housing case with an elastic insert, a filler designed as a noise-attenuating package, a shock-absorber keeping elasticity in the temperature range from minus 40 to plus 40 degrees and with external coating providing reflection of infrared and/or ultra-violet radiation. The device also contains the emergency radio beacon transmitting signals at in advance determined emergency frequency, it is preferable at a sea international emergency frequency (406 MHz) and/or at air navigation emergency frequency (121.5 MHz), a tight chamber which is automatically filled with gas in case of fall in water, a multimode light indicator of hazard in acoustic environment. Ear protectors are fitted with a communication headset, active sound damping system with smooth volume control, a torch fastener, a face shield, a chinstrap, light reflecting elements, a video camera. Also ear protectors are fitted with a system of radio-frequency user identification.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of search and rescue operations.
