FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Device for production of the palladium ingots contains melting furnace 1 with inductor 19, crystalliser 2 made with water cooling channels and pipes 12 for cooling liquid supply and removal, support plate 13. The support plate moving gear 15 is made as pneumatic chamber with valve and pipe for connection to the pressure transmitter. In furnace top 6 holes are made, they are connected with vacuuming system. The melting furnace is tightly connected to top of the crystalliser. Internal cavity of the crystalliser is made with cross-section smaller in top part in comparison with the bottom part. Between the furnace 1 and crystalliser 2 there is separating plate with hole 4 in central part. After feed stock melting in the furnace under vacuum the piston 10 acts on the melt and via it on the support plate 13. In the pneumatic chamber 15 pressure rises, it is released via the valve 16. Pressure is regulated thus setting the required casting speed.

EFFECT: increased ingot quality due to reduced porosity and shrinkage cavity.
