SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of conversion of hydrocarbons, more specifically to the reforming of hydrocarbon material in the presence of a catalyst in order to produce gasoline fractions and aromatic compounds. Described is a reforming catalyst comprising a substrate, at least one noble metal M selected from platinum and palladium, tin, phosphorus and ytterbium, wherein the elemental content of phosphorus is greater than or equal to 0.2 wt. % and less than 0.4 wt. %, ytterbium content ranges from 0.01 to 1 wt. % relative to catalyst weight, in which the substrate contains silicon oxide, aluminum oxide or aluminosilicate.
EFFECT: providing a catalyst with high activity and stability during reforming without deterioration of selectivity.
