FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. In a bistable electromagnetic drive with a polarised parallel magnetic circuit and parallel working air gaps between external bars of a U-shaped yoke from mild steel there located and made with them as an integral part is a flat constant magnet that includes a central bar from mild steel and induces contact magnetic flux onto a swinging armature supported from the central bar. Excitation windings with separate control are made on each external bar with possibility of supplying to them of pulses for rotation of the swinging armature from one self-locking position to another by means of the constant magnet. The magnetic flux formed with the constant magnet passes via the magnetic circuit that is closed in every case through the swinging armature. If the magnetic flux formed with the excitation winding of the above said magnetic circuit, which passes in the opposite direction, is available, it is switched to a parallel located branch of the magnetic circuit, the excitation winding of which is in a non-excited state with a possibility of rotation of the swinging armature.
EFFECT: improvement of switching ability.
