FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in electrical engineering. According to the method the uninterrupted power supply system is operated at continuous monitoring of the battery and load voltage and transmission by the control unit of control signals to the key by fixed deviations of measured voltage values, and in the mode of load supply from the main source the battery is operated in the storage mode at the opened key and stable maintaining of current in the battery circuit equal to zero, the transition to the battery charging mode is performed when supplying the control signal from the control unit to close a key at fixing by the control unit of the battery voltage below the preset threshold, and the battery discharge by load is performed at the first stage through a diode, providing non-commutation switching of load to the powering from the power supply to powering from the battery with the subsequent shunting of the diode at transition of the control signal from the control unit to closing of the key.
EFFECT: increase of service life of the battery at operation of DC uninterrupted power supply systems and improvement of reliability of system of uninterrupted power supply.
