SUBSTANCE: wet gas scrubbing unit comprises a cylindrical casing with a conical bottom and branch pipes to withdraw the purified gas and to remove sludge, a device built-in in the casing and consisting of a suction chamber, a confuser and a neck; a nozzle and a drop catcher; the novelty is that the drop catcher is made as chains suspended by a yoke mounted in the lower part of the neck with the help of pins and two detachable joints.
