SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and may be used for protected plant growing. The method of the plant metabolism stimulation is based on gas exchange with the environment and the use of a controlled gas atmosphere. The controlled gas atmosphere also protects the plants from fungal and bacterial pathogens and involves the use of a pyrotechnic composition which while burning generates an aerosol comprising a wide range of chemicals, i.e. macro- and microelements comprising manganese, boron, molybdenum, potassium, calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc, carbon dioxide, and a iodine-containing component. The aerosol generating pyrotechnic composition also contains a fuel in the form of metallic aluminium and aluminium powder in the ratio of 40\60-60\40 and ″magnesium-aluminium″ ratio of 40/60-55/45, as well as iodine crystals in the maximum amount of 0.2%. The composition also contains 0.5-2.5% of Fe2O3.
