FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of plant biotechnology. A method is proposed for obtaining genetically modified plants of genus Kalanchoe expressing the gene of cecropin P1 and having antimicrobial activity.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides increased bactericidal properties of plants of genus Kalanchoe, which may find further application in pharmacology.
