FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: stand for measuring amplitude back-scattering diagrams of aircraft jet engines comprises a rotary platform, receiving, transmitting and recording devices of a radar station, a device for measuring the angular position of the platform, a front and at least one rear post on which the investigated object is placed. The posts are placed on the platform. The front post is in the form of an ogive-shaped pylon with height of at least 1.5 m with a fastening means in the form of a supporting channel under the investigated jet engine with standard locking means. The rear post is placed coaxial to the front post against the investigated engine and can be made in the form of an adjustable jack configured to control the tilt angle of the engine relative to the platform. The platform, posts and fastening means are completely covered by radar absorbent material with electromagnetic radiation reflection coefficient on a metal surface of not more than -20 dB in the investigated frequency range of the radar station.

EFFECT: measuring amplitude characteristics of an aircraft jet engine with accuracy of 1 dB at different angles of the position of the object, wider range of target analysis and approaching real conditions.
