FIELD: radar engineering, applicable for adaptive control of polarization, amplitude and phase dispersion characteristics of objectives of the defense equipment with a restricted degree of variability of the dispersion characteristics.

SUBSTANCE: the device functions in two modes-training and adaptation - and has a deception controlled coating that may be made in a different manner and whose electrodynamic properties are adjusted with the aid of a manipulated variable delivered through a buffer control unit of the coating from the output of the manipulated variable formation assembly and having parameters preset by the adaptive control assembly coupled to the radar control assembly used in the training mode and connected to the data storage assembly and the unit for determination of the conditions of objective illumination.

EFFECT: improved quality of radio-radar countermeasures of the enemy by means of a semiactive adaptive control of polarization, amplitude and phase dispersion characteristics of the protected objective.
