FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: coupling comprises a driving and a driven parts, a serpentine cable resilient damping element in the form of a grid with loops and two pairs of outer and inner support bars which is set between the above parts. Units to install the cable in the support bars are made as semicircular cross grooves with bridge pieces. The bridge pieces are shortened and rounded. The outer parts of the grid cable loops protrude beyond the bars. Unit to fasten the cable ends is made as a loop, the cable ends are turned to the inner side of the support bars. The cable grids with support bars are mounted between the driving and the driven coupling parts within the area of their circumference and form a frame with parallel grids, or a trihedral frame, or tetrahedral frame, or pentahedral frame, or hexahedral frame, or radial frame.
EFFECT: simplified design, perfect damping ability and possibility to adjust rigidity at torsion.
