FIELD: mechanical engineering; vibration protection devices. SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator has support base on which support and pressure plates are mounted, plates being provided with semiround cross slots, flexible member made up of lengths of steel wire rope of horseshoe shape assembled into groups and arranged at angle to axis of vibration isolator whose ends are secured in slots of support and pressure plates, additional support base, strips connected with additional support base and arranged uniformly or symmetrically over its circumference. Middle part of each steel wire length is secured in strips. Number of groups is chosen equal to three, minimum. Lengths of wire ropes in each group are arranged either with clearance equal to size of each hole for fasteners arranged at both sides of each semiround cross slots, or without clearance. Pressure plates of each group are braced by additional plate to form trough-shaped member in middle part of which holes for fasteners are made. EFFECT: improved vibration protection. 12 dwg
