FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, specifically, to nondestructive check methods. Hodographs are taken on impact of a gap between a converter and an object of control at a signal in a defect-free area of an adjustment sample, and in the area of this sample with a calibraing defect of available value. Hodographs are represented on the complex plane of introduced voltages (Uint) and Re (Uint). Curve 1 - hodograph of gap impact above the defect-free area of the adjustment sample. The point A corresponds to the position of the converter directly on the adjustment sample, and the point H - at the distance, where impact of the adjustment sample may be neglected. Curve 2 - hodograph of gap impact in the area of the adjustment sample with calibating defect of available value. The hodograph of gap impact at a signal in the defect-free section of the control object is taken, shown by the curve 3. If between directions of hodographs 1 and 3 the angle is Φ, then they change the phase of excitation current by this angle Φ so that hodographs of gas impact in defect-free areas of the adjustment sample and control object match, and then they perform control of the object.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase accuracy of defect parameters detection.
