FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: objectives are achieved due to identification of an asteroid direction by a radar with four Earth-based transcieving antennas (TSA) which contain: ten signal generators (SG), twelve mixers (M) each and filters (F), four power amplifier (PA) each and a frequency meter (FM), five DACs and a digital map of near-earth space containing N comparison circuits each of which has four digital comparators, AND gate and a light-emitting diode. The asteroid direction is identified by its irradiating with four TSAs, installed equidistantly from each other along a circle, with reference distances L between opposite TSA1 and TSA2, and also TSA3 and TSA4 which radiate four continuous signals with frequency modulation according to unilateral sawlike ramp curve (NLFM signals) with close frequencies.
EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities.
