FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention suggests electrolytic deposition of spongy zinc to current-conducting substrate at cathode current density of 40A/dm2 out of zinc-containing electrolyte in presence of Zincamin-02 agent in quantity of 10 ml/l with subsequent washing of the resultant deposition from alkali by distilled water and drying at room temperature. Time of spongy zinc deposition is equal to 15 minutes.
EFFECT: improvement of discharge performance of electrodes.
