FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. Mounting tool is intended for installation and/or dismantling of retaining shackle bracket on safety device of disc brake mechanism. Safety device comprises safety element with two spring-loaded elbows firmly connected with rear bearing plate of rear brake shoe of appropriate disc braking mechanism. Mounting tool comprises base, expanding and guiding devices.
EFFECT: simplified mounting and disassembly of retaining shackle bracket on safety device of disc brake mechanism.
