SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and specifically devices and methods of displaying moving images. A display device is disclosed. The device comprises an image acquiring unit, an imager analyser and a display controller. The image acquiring unit is configured to obtain a moving image located in a given region relative to the direction of display of the image. The image analyser performs analysis of the moving image to detect the face of a user and calculate the position of the user subject to the direction in the appropriate viewing position. The display device is configured to determine if the user is a child or an adult based on the face, and determine if the user is subject to the direction in the appropriate viewing position if the user is a child.

EFFECT: providing safe use of the display device by children by determining and correcting the appropriate viewing position of the child.
